I write and edit content for EWOC’s monthly newsletter, which includes information about our upcoming events, trainings, announcements, organizing tips, curated labor resources, labor news, and a body section that shares our perspective on the latest notable labor events or debates. Since heading the Newsletter Team in August 2023, I’ve created two new recurring sections: 1. EWOC in the News: a place to share our EWOC campaign wins and mentions in the press and 2. Labor Resources: a curated list of labor resources shared by our volunteer organizers. See below a few of our published newsletter issues.
Thong Tri Temple: Web Content Writer

Thong Tri Temple is a Buddhist Temple in Santa Clara, California. Although I am not Buddhist myself, I have written and edited blogs for this community since 2021. During the Pandemic, the temple website was created to spread the Dharma message to patrons who were no longer able to visit the temple. I began writing blogs about the story of Shakyamuni Buddha, the Four Noble Truths, and other Dharma lessons with guidance from Hanh Lien, the ordained Buddhist nun who leads this community. We also send out a quarterly newsletter with information about our most recent educational blogs, mindfulness meditation sessions over zoom, and upcoming events at the temple.
